Our movement coach Acacia Noel teaches a variety of personalized lessons to help you "Move Well" and meet movement goals related to work, habits, aging and posture. Move Well lessons can be targeted to help you bring healthy movement into your daily life, and address common challenges we see here in our clinic and in the context of a sedentary culture. Choose from below themes that cover common concerns, or, discuss your goals with Acacia and develop your own, fully-customized Move Well lesson. 

Desk worker's Relief

It's essential for any desk-bound worker to get more variety of movement into your day. Whether you sit or stand all day, this lesson will prime you on a set of mobilizations to keep your spine and joints healthy, lengthen key muscle groups, get your circulation moving, even boost your metabolism-- all while performing at your job. There are even moves you can do during those long zoom calls! Let Acacia build your personalized playbook.

Posture rescue

Let's face it, thanks to smartphones and computers, "tech neck" is now the norm. Compromised neck posture can be a major health hazard, contributing to headaches and migraine, TMJ, cervical arthritis and disc degeneration, even problems with the upper extremities and mental clarity due to blocked circulation. If you're ready to rehab your neck posture, this lesson will give you the key postural cues, stretches and exercises, customized for your unique body and everyday habits. A mental "flow state" has been studied by psychologists for its ability to bring us out of our worried stream of consciousness, and into an ideal, fully present mindset. Join Acacia for a customized movement lesson programmed to be accessible for your body, with the main goal of having fun, relieving stress, and bringing you into the moment. This class may draw upon dance, hula-hoop, yoga, isometric strengthening, and a variety of other free-form movements. Access more movement while also generating a positive mental state! Appropriate for all fitness levels and ages.

If you're a senior seeking more ways to stay mobile, strong and dynamic, this lesson is for you. Acacia will meet you where you are and customize a menu of movements suited to your needs and abilities, building your confidence in skills that can be practiced daily at home for wellness. Walking wellness, protecting the spine and hips, osteoporosis awareness, floor and furniture mobility, protecting your overhead reach, even moves for hand strength-- this lesson will be built for you and your longevity goals.

Foot Health Bootcamp

Hammertoes, bunions, & plantar fasciitis... oh my! Learn how to improve foot functionality in this foot-focused movement lesson. Acacia will show you how to mobilize those long-ignored tissues in (and around) the feet, toes, and ankles, and set you up with simple exercises to activate the arches and intrinsic foot muscles. Wake up the feet and improve not only your average foot pain but perhaps your knee, hip or back pain as well! Also fantastic for athletes and weekend warriors whose feet need some love.

Yoga Private

A private yoga lesson can be a great way to hone your home practice, relax and restore, or perhaps get started on a new wellness routine. Drawing from Vinyasa, Yin and Restorative yoga practices, Acacia will adapt the session to your current goals and needs.
