Suzie Lee Tran, MS, MAC, LAC

About Suzie

Born and raised in central Bucks, Suzie earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University and her Master of Science degree in Acupuncture from New England School of Acupuncture.

Her trainings have included integrative hospital residencies, internships with prominent acupuncturists including T. Koei Kuwahara and Kiiko Matsumoto, and intensive training in Shakuju, a non-insertive acupuncture style suitable for sensitive patients and children.

She has been practicing since 2012 in the Philadelphia region with a focus on pain, insomnia, body-mind wellness, women’s health, oncology support, and pediatrics.

Suzie’s happy place is the local farmers market. She finds joy in feeding others and recognizes food to be the first medicine we all experience. She also adores any time outdoors, Phillies games, yoga, and time together with her daughter and husband.

”In my early adult life, I suffered from migraine headaches. While medication lessened my symptoms and provided some relief, it wasn’t until I received consistent acupuncture treatments that I learned how powerful and effective Eastern medicine can be as a synergistic partner in wellness and healing.

“Having grown up partially in Korea and mostly here in the US, my life has always been a vibrant fusion of ideologies and culture. I believe in approaching health through a similar fusion of perspectives. Now it's my passion to help my patients incorporate Eastern medicine into their overall health and fitness strategies in order to achieve optimum wellness and balance.

”We are all more than the sum of our symptoms, diagnoses and emotions. As an acupuncturist, I want to get to the root of the imbalance, restore function and stability, and maintain the health of my patients.”
