Join licensed acupuncturists Misook Lee and Suzie Lee Tran for a FREE talk as they address the vital concerns and questions of many women as they approach and undergo menopause. Understanding the metabolic shifts that occur which can cause weight gain and insomnia can help us prepare for these stages in life and address symptoms as they come up.
Misook and Suzie will seek to provide you a better understanding of perimenopause and menopause through the lens of acupuncture and Chinese medicine, and how these ancient healing arts are able to support women during this time. They also will discuss Eastern wisdom concerning helpful lifestyle and nutritional adaptations. After a brief talk, they will address any questions you have and will also provide auricular (ear) acupuncture or ear seeds to interested participants! Zoom participants can also join us at a time of their choosing after the talk for free ear acupuncture or ear seeds! Sign up to reserve your place at bridge.janeapp.com, as in-person spaces are limited! We will also broadcast the talk on Zoom and have the recording available for one month afterwards to those who sign up; Zoom signup also available at the link above. 🙂 Hope to see you there! |

Unplug. Practice stillness. Breathe. Zen Meditation (zazen) is a formal style where practitioners maintain silence and stillness during the sit, while focusing on posture and breathing form. Sits are led by Grace Rollins, MS, LAc who has nearly 20 years of experience and has trained in both monastic and martial arts communities. We can provide floor cushions (zafu), or a chair for those who cannot sit on the floor, or feel free to bring your own cushion. No experience is required-- basic instruction will be provided to those who are new to the practice, if you arrive a few minutes early. Free or by donation. Confirm class availability and sign up on our scheduling website or contact us for more information. |
