First time acupuncture patients are advised to schedule a 90-minute Initial Session, which includes health history intake, examination and treatment. Our follow-ups are hour-long sessions (except for preventative/wellness and pediatric, where at times we accept 30-minute "express" appointments). After your initial session we will discuss a recommended schedule of follow-ups. Please book recommended follow-ups in advance to ensure availability, especially if you need evenings or weekends.
If you still have questions after reading our FAQ, we can offer a free 10-minute consultation about your case by phone. If you would like to meet us in person feel free to drop by, although our practitioners will have more time to answer your questions by phone.
To make an appointment please contact the office (or conveniently schedule online 24/7):

24-hour cancellation policy
Please help us to keep our rates affordable by providing at least 24 hours notice before cancelling or rescheduling your session. If you must cancel last minute, we expect you to pay the full cost of your session. (Our policy is lenient in cases of illness, family emergencies and unsafe weather.)
Health history form
We will email you an online health history form which gives us important background and information for your New Patient intake and treatment. Please complete it prior to your appointment. If you do not receive it please inform us; doing your paperwork in advance saves valuable time for your appointment and allows you to be as detailed as you like.
Rates & payment
All current prices are listed at the online scheduler. We do not bill or participate in any insurance plans. Inquire with your health plan regarding out-of-network coverage for acupuncture, as we can provide documentation for reimbursement. Most HSAs will cover our services and we can process HSA cards. If cost is an obstacle, we offer affordable weekly Community Acupuncture, which can be scheduled online or by contacting us.
What to wear
For acupuncture we recommend bringing a loose tank top and shorts, and for ladies a bra that opens in back (instead of a sports bra). We can offer drapes if necessary. Massage patients will typically undress to their comfort and will be covered appropriately.
All patients are required to remain masked while on the premises. To minimize contacts with others and our staff please call our front desk if you're early to see if your room is available. We recommend loading your credit card number and using online scheduling to expedite check-out. Use hand sanitizer on the front desk upon entering. Leave unnecessary items in your car. Guests are not permitted on-site unless for medical necessity or supervision of minors. Patients with any COVID-like symptoms (shortness of breath, cough, fever, body aches) and those with recent exposure to a suspected case will be asked to reschedule. Please read here about our other clinic safety procedures.
Finding the office
The office is located at 30 Garden Alley, in downtown Doylestown near the Old Courthouse, Puck and County Theater. Garden Alley is a narrow street parallel to Court and State that can be entered from Broad St or Pine St. Our office is a small white house with a red door, located facing the gravel Eastburn & Gray parking lot.
There are two parking spaces in front of the office and ample metered parking nearby, especially on Broad and State. Meters take quarters and credit cards. If you are willing to walk 5 minutes there is free 2-hour parking on Church street which intersects Garden Alley just a little farther north (away from Main st). Please notify us in advance if you are disabled/injured and would like us to reserve one of our parking spaces for you. Our ability to do so is limited so please be sure to notify us when this is needed.
We look forward to working with you!
